Becky your answer is nonsense. God did not abandon Jews for Christians. Where did you get that idea?

Their is no direct history which seems to be your forte' that states that Jesus studied anything the only written record of Jesus(real name Yeshua ibn Josef) was the Gospels and even in there entirety and unedited version it only states that he preached not studied. He was a Jew and His followers did call Him Rabbi, the book of Hebrews Paul states that He is a High Priest of the order of Melchizedek who was The Word of God brought to life. He was never on a search for knowledge He was knowledge.
You should search for knowledge after your answer to my last question and here is a little something to help you. Go to Google Video search for Loose Change 911 watch it and research the science yourself. Do not just go to websites designed to refute it. Check out the science at the sources. Isaak Newton had no stake in politics.

I am confident he was a 'spiritual' genius, {one of several} and just tryed to assimulate/understand the concepts prevelent in his day... he must have deduced something of significance, ...christian religons are still under the influence of what he tryed to explaine to his decipels 2000 tears ago.
I think his teachings are a littel antiquated....considering the distance humanity has come intelectually, but thats just me.
I agree with you... he wasnt 'religous' , he was 'spiritual',..the significance of that has been omissed, or outrite distorted for what ever reason, and it dosent matter wether the teacher was a judist, a kabaliast, a muslumist, or a christionist...
We are all equil spiritually, no one religon better than another, life is god, and god is life, and life will find a way.
'Religons' are controversual, and insure the ongoing confusion humanity must over come to understand there relaionship in god, he, {"GOD"}, has been in evolution on this planet sence life found its first foothold.

jesus, the buddha, and other fully enlightened humans are meant to be role models for what any? many? most? some, at least, human(s) can become once he/she/they "connect perfectly" with the god within (each of us). there is a level of religion suitable for the level attained by each of us. fundamentalism is "entry level" and suitable for the most simple. the esoteric practices attract the "more advanced". these practices involve a lot of meditation and "energy work": chi kung, reiki, jin shin jyutsu, yoga, etc. they permit the actual experience of "god/goddess", and all of its benefits. the lower the level of the "religious practice", the more talk, lecture, argument and intimidation through threats of hell and damnation, are present, and precious little "practice". moreover, such systems always involve the wielding of maximal power and control over the congregation by the "leadership". usually to the latter's financial and sociopathic advantage.

Jesus is the true son of the living God. My hypothesis is that he was indeed God incarnated- but he did not have the previous knowledge of those other man-made religions, even though his Father, God, did.
It makes logical sense, really, that Jesus would study other faiths. Does it not? Moreover, he was in a region where he would need to find a rapport with people of many different faiths and backgrounds. He probably wanted to understand other cultures, in order to relate to those peoples.
Again, even though he was the true son of God, he was born as a man in the aspect that he did not have prior knowledge of the different religions of people from his region of the world. This is my surmise.

If he had come to the native Americans and born amongst them, then he would have probably studied there ways also.
he was in a human body so he also had to learn to wipe his butt properly. by his mother I would think.
so learning how to read and reading what books they had back then and talking with people about spiritual matters would seem to be to be normal behavior on this part.
He was not God, he was purported to me the son of God however.
on a nothing note I don't take what the old testament says as facts.nor take them to heart.
I do however take what Jesus said as fact.
and try to live by his teachings.
Peace

Your right, Catholics are taught the The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are the same, so I think your question is valid.
It's like the question...if I told my parents I was pregnant and a virgin....why wouldn't they believe me. Seem that things like this only happened at the time the bible was written !
Floods and swarms of insects are now blamed on global warming!
