my sister and i haven't been talking for 3 years now. She is older and it was her fault that we had a fight. My family asked me to call her and apologize b/c i am younger and i think she should call me b/c she starting the fight. Who should call first, me or her??

OK, I think that it doesn't matter who's fault it was, you care enough that your asking our opinion so i know you must really miss her, yes i would call her and i would get things straight, look shes older but you are obviously are more mature, so yes be the better person make the first move in your heart you know that's they way to go, trust me here you will feel so much better she is family and nothing should come between family... do it, have peace of mind' G-luck

This happened to me last year.My sister and I had a big fight as she is so racist and I've adopted 4 mexican children (my angels) my family got mad at me for starting a fight ad for 3 months we did not talk.I was the one that got phone calls everyday to let me know how i was in the wrong.
I would call her up and do not as i but look at it this way.Who is the bigger person I think if you call you have more respect and more brains and alot more heart.I know the pain and it really does hurt. When I called my sister I did not say sorry as we do't talk about what happened.

3 years???!!! WOW!!!

How'd you manage to hold a grudge for that long???

I reckon you call her! There's no telling what tomorrow brings! I mean she could get hit by a bus, touch wood, and then you'll be sorry that you didn't even make the effort to patch things up with her. Be the bigger person!

Worst case scenario, she might not accept your apology, but at least you know you tried, then the ball would be in her court!

Don't delay my friend! Make that call before it's too late!

Let me know how it goes...

It depends, do you want to have your sister back or just have the next time you see her she'll be in a casket. It's your choice.
