RS2

I used to own an S2 that I had chipped up to 290BHP with 18" BBS alloys and Porsche brakes. It was a fantastic car that could play with Porsche 911s and eat Boxters for breakfast!

The RS2 is even better with 315BHP as standard and chippable to 370BHP.

Until recently it was equal fastest accelerating production car in the world up to 30mph. It was equal with the McLaren F1 with a time of 1.5 seconds. Even the Enzo isn't as fast as that!

And all this from a 5 door estate car with an Audi badge on the front!

I used to test drive Audi's, including A3 2-doors & diesels. IMHO, the A3 is an excellent car in most ways. It's nimble, reasonably quick and fun to drive.

The only problems we had with them were the window regulators and stereo problems, both of which would fail pre-maturely. If you can live without power windows or plan on installing an aftermarket stereo, it will be a great car...

Also some of the under-hood plastic pieces were cheaply made, such as the air intake and the engine cover. These things are not essential so if they fail, it won't leave you stranded.

The TT's are very cool looking and fun also, but aren't practical because of the lack of space. If you're a bachelor and don't have to haul friends, groceries and luggage - or are just commuting - it will work great.
