Vlad III the Impaler (Vlad Dracula) was Prince of Wallachia, a former polity which is now part of Romania. His three reigns were in 1448, 1456-1462, and 1476. In the English-speaking world, Vlad is best known for the legends of the exceedingly cruel punishments he imposed during his reign, and consequently serving as the inspiration for the vampire main character in Bram Stoker's popular Dracula novel.

The man the legends and stories are based off of? Vlad the Impaler? No, I don't think I'd like him but then I guess it depends on which side of history you're on. I'm sure to his people he might have been a great hero but to most everyone else he was a murderous and sadistic warlord.
If I had to pick my fav dracula character.....I think either the one from Bram Stoker's Dracula or Drake from Blade Trinity.

Don't "like" him, but I respect how he united his people (Transylvania was the route between East and West Europe and was kind of a doormat until Vlad got his people to stand up for themselves). Glad I didn't live under his reign, though! When he asked some visitors why they didn't remove their hats in his presence and they said because it wasn't the custom in their land, he helped them honor their custom by nailing their hats to their heads! Supposedly he had his unfaithful wife skinned alive and hung her skin in the marketplace. If a guest dared mention that his bed was too short or overly long, Vlad had him "adjusted" to fit his bed! Or so the legend goes.

I love Dracula and i have pictures of his grave and all sorts of out of control truths.he deffinetly smells bad and feathers his -accual look with sensuality enhanced love spell and pleasure filled vsexual thaughts to blind you as your level of conciouncness changes into that of a hypnotic state before he bites you on the tender loyns and sucks you into a waste of skin then probably has erectile disfunction on your apperance beyond that point.

Lots of books and movies are about him. But that's the fictitious part. Go to a real vampires group or chat room, there are plenty out there Nice, nocturnal people they are!
