How long has it got to last? Divide one by t'other so you don't spend more one week than you should.

Budget for how many weeks you need the money to last for.
work out how much ypu have available per week. Divide the amount for the week by food bills uni stuff clothes traveling and socialising and anything else you can think of and you will manage. Another thing would be to get a part time job at mcdonalds or a pub just to help a bit. Hope this helps ! !

I am a student myself. The way I make money last is to think twice before I buy anything but essentials. such as transport costs, food, and other things we can not help but pay.
The greatest money drain is food. It you can eat things you cook or heat up yourself you can get by on maybye £2-3 a day.
I do it because takeaway for ether me or one of my mates can easily be £3. Admittedly it is appealing but counting the overall cost, you can eat decently three meals and snacks for a whole day for what you would spend on one takeaway order. That is if you eat like my mates and I do.
Oh yeah, clothes. A little late this year, but I usually ask for at least some clothes in with other things at Christmas.
Last hint: I always claim skint, and limit party-pub sort of expenses.
Example: A birthday party this weekend, I am helping with food and found a prezzie on discount I am getting away with less than a tenner (UK=that is).
I wish you all the best!

Just spend it foolishly. Get as many loans as you can and ask for your borrowing limit to be raised. Apply for every single credit card available and that should help a bit. Then if you're still needing more .... there's always The Bank Of Mum & Dad! I'm £14,000 in debt and I'm very happy.

spend it on stuff you cant live with out,
your a student do you live at the college, home with parents, a apartment of your own or do you share a place with other students. of course at home you probably don't have bills. books of course can be one thing buy used if you have too just to save money. of course you have to eat and i mean not take out. go To a aldi or save alot what ever has cheap but good food. no beer its just stupid. to save money drink water buy kool-aid that just need water, buy tea, pop can be expensive. and of course if you have bills like elec or gas that should be paid can't live with out heat or elec. tv is not that important you have a lot of work when you get home to do. of course water if you have to pay for that. you would need a phone to call home but just use it wisely. or another words to make this all short and less confusing budget your money or get a job.

Don't go out at night, stay in and eat basic stuff as soon as you find a job. Then when you have found a job dont spend it all at once! Save some

get a P/T job in catering = free food.

learn to cook soups or other cheap healthy food like that.

spend time in the library = free heating, books & newspapers

in season you can pick wild food and eat that, apples grow wild all over and berries, etc.
