It depends on the results in Iraq. If things turn out well they have an excellent chance to win many seats. Why do you think the Dems demand change in strategy and then condemn any move that may improve the situation. Some top Dems have been advocating increasing troop strength for the last two years and now that they have it, all of a sudden its not a good move. What has changed? Nothing. But the Dems will oppose any logical change in strategy in Iraq for purely political reasons. They want the White House in '08 and a victory of sorts on the international front would not help them achieve that. Not all Dems think like this but enough do to make a difference. Victory has a whole host of suitors but defeat will always be an orphan. Both sides know this full well.

As a Republican, I am not worried. The Hollywood elistists and the left wing wackos will soon start jamming thier values (or lack thereof) and politics down everyone's throats. This will disgust America like it did in '04. Remember when you went to bed on election nite thinking Kerry had it all sewn up?

America's heartland always comes through.

It depends on who their candidate is. The Dems won in 2006 mostly because of Bush, lol. That was their campaign slogan, We hate Bush, and it worked. What will they do in 2008 when Bush steps down? Will they have to *gasp* come up with a real plan?

Democrats. in keeping with possibility he will ask Clinton to be his vp...a black president and a woman vp...what a historic term for the White homestead! Bob Barr needs you to think of that he's a Libertarian, yet he's merely as conservative as Bush.

I think the American people will be quite sick of the Dems by 2008.

I don't recall the 2006 Dem victory being because people liked the Dems or thought they were good.

You never really know, the news is twisted and turned to make one thing seem true, but its not what it seems. I thought for sure Bush would not be re-elected, but it happened. sadly America is looking even more like the enemy. cb
