The Iraq army does not have the weapons to do thier job or the money to pay thier army thats a fact. Would you support arming them and showing them how to pay thier troops and help them with that if it meant getting our guys home faster??

I dont like that fact that AGAIN America is going to give Iraqis weapons, but unfortunately it has to be done. Otherwise all these men and woman dying are in vain. I think Iraq needs help, and American and Great Britian are responsible for seeing to that help. It is ridiculous to think they could go and take Saddam out of power and all would be well. The fear of Saddam is what prevented them from being invaded by other groups. There is not good solution. I pray that our troops all come home safely.

They have plenty of weapons and lots of oil money! Are we to create an army as strong as our own in a country so unstable that civil war exists only to have them turn those weapons on our troops or give them to our enemies in the country now? Let's force a political change first!!!

ANALOGY:

How about putting together a Iraq Football team to play, & win the Super Bowl?

'You can lead a horse to water...'

They'll do what their capable of doing. They have more natural valuable resources than the U.S. does. Their extreamly wealthy.

The best option, for all involved, is for the U.S. to quit intervering, and allow the Iraqi people to develop a solution.

The level of violence their experiencing, is un-natural. Sooner, than later, they'll get motoviated to eleminate those provoking, & causing it. It's their choice.

Unless their endemically, mentally flawed, in which case we're wasting our time, they'll get it togeather.

Hopefully, they'll not become an enemy of the U.S. That is more than likely the outcome we'll be faced with; an Iraq, allied with Iran, against the West.

No way! Don't give killers weapons! Are you kidding?

Get the solders home and let the Iraqi folks fight their internal wars. It's been brewing for centuries, and happening to a certain extent for centuries. Let them fight to their hearts content, may be at the end, they will finally learn something and stop this craziness.

We need to focus on NOT depending on oil from these countries, or oil at all, and mind our own business, literally.

If they kept the weapons they confiscate from the insurgents they arrest and/or kill, they would have enough. Who supplied us? As for the swap..........if that's what it took to bring our troops home, I'd donate one of my guns for the cause.

I would support anything tactic, any measure that allowed us to pull our troops out.
