If the car has a 'GPS' transmitter installed somewhere, you can't hide - Maybe putting it in the basement of a large parking garage about 4 levels underground might help!!

They can find your workplace through many different records that are available to banks and creditors, so do not drive your car until you make your payment. Creditors do have the right to seize your car, even after you make your payment, unless you clear up the matter with your creditor and get "proof of payment". There are creditors that will review your payment history, and if it is "sketchy", then they can call in the loan in whole if they deem you a high risk. Call the creditors and verify that you are planning on making the payment.

You're better off giving it up-- i work in this type of business. The reason why they are not putting your repossesion order on HOLD is because you've probably have numerous late payments or don't go through with planned payments. REPO men are smart, and know what they are doing. they will check your house, POE, parents, siblings, co-workers && references you've previously stated. DON'T HIDE cause it'll be worse! if worse comes to worse, you can always redeem your car after repossesion.. there's always a grace period for them to hold the vehichle.

Pay one of your friends ten bucks to let you use their garage for a week. Have them park their car in front if the garage door, just to be safe. Don't drive it to work, as they will take it in the middle of the day, if they have to.

Let them have it. There are good cars out there for $500. You don't need payments. Heck try and buy real estate.

My son just got his car respossesed. He was behind 5 months before they came and took it. If you are behind just 1 pmt, I wouldnt worry so much.
