I just recently had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and it started off with some light cramping here and there. I went to the e.r. because I didnt have insurence and they said that it was my uterus stretching because the baby is growing. A few days later the cramping was comming more and more so I called a nurse. She said that it is way too early to feel cramping cause the baby is too small. A few days later I miscarried. I am now 7 weeks pregnant and am feeling cramping again. It is not really painful. Although it feels similar to the last time it is not as strong and only happens once every few days. I cant get to the doctor for another few weeks due to insurence issues again and I am not going to the e.r. again. I just wondered if any of you have had cramping this early and if it is normal. Thank you!!!

It is normal to have cramps in early pregnancy. Your ligaments are stretching and your body is adjusting to the missed periods. However, cramping can also be a sign of miscarriage so my advice is to find a doctor that will see you or an ER that you trust and let them check you. Chances are when you explain what happened with your last one, they will pay a little more attention.

Usually cramping round 7 weeks is natural. But the truth you are saying they consider like slight contractions is also a motive for main issue. When I miscarried the cramping felt like slight contractions as good. I could wait and when you begin to bleed I could head the er or name your surgeon the very first thing within the morning!!

Hi.

I asked the same question recently, (if it was normal to experience cramping in early pregnancy) and I had about 20 answers, all saying yes.

I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you're not experiencing anything as (such as a heavy bleed).

Good luck with your insurance issues girl, you really do need to get to the doctor just to make sure everything's progressing naturally.

Period like cramping is perfectly normal. So is spotting.

Doubling you over cramps and bleeding is not okay.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Why don't you try some time tested home remedies? I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
