Yes it can. In this situation you could

1) substitute another goalkeeper and take off a player from the pitch or

2) if you didn't have another goalkeeper, you could put a defenseman or another player in the goalkeepers position. Or

3) You could go without a goalie and try your best to keep the opposition away from the goalbox.

Yes it can happen, though very rarely. The back-up goalie goes into net and the coach has to pull a player off the field to play with 10 players.

Yes. And it has happened. A coach can also sub out the goalie for an extra position player, usually to help the offense.

yes it can. if it does, the manager will probably have to substitute one of his remaining 10 players for the second choice goalie.

if he doesn't have a goalie on the bench, the next best choice would be to make one of the players on field don the goalie's gloves and become the goalie.

it sort of happened in the Chelsea-Reading match last year. petr cech and cudicini (chelsea's 1st and 2nd choice goalies) were injured in that match and john terry had to play keeper for a bit.

any player including the goalkeeper gets the red card if the player commits a serious foul during a match. if the goalkeeper gets the red card, the substitute goalkeeper has to come on & one of the outfield player has to be substituted.
