It hurts because there are nerve endings in your nose, of course, and you are drilling a hole in your body. The body takes a very dim view of that.
I would reconsider the whole idea; how will you feel if you catch a cold during the time your wound is healing, and it gets all infected and full of gunk??

I had mine pierced about 11yrs in the past, and likely it did damage, besides the actual undeniable truth that i did not get it done through a specialist. It became pink and it damage for some days, basically keep it sparkling, and do not take it out or the hollow will % up, of route now i can leave it out for days at a time. Oh, do not difficulty it received't damage lengthy.

it will hurt and its because your getting something pierced though your skin. but really all it will do is make your eyes water and it stings for a few min.
just a warning though, once you take it out when you don't want it anymore you still have an indent there where the hole was and it looks kinda weird.

Piercing any part of your body will hurt remember it's your flesh been pierced and any sharp object stick in your flesh will hurt unless so if you intend to some sort of piercing expect some sort of pain may not be for long but expect it,

Go out in the cold and get your friend to flick the side of your nose really hard - thats about the same pain as you will feel xxxx

It doesnt hurt much but your eyes will probably water due to the nerves in your nose. Just look after it and it won't get infected

i had my nose pierced and tho it looked good 4 a while it soon looked tacky. i also have a huge round scar where it was pierced. it doesnt hurt as such but does make a cringey crunch noise. have it done if u want but please be aware that its not really as great as it seems x

It hurts because it involves sticking a pin through a part of your body.
Maybe the hurt is telling you that it is an unattractive and unhygienic way to disfigure yourself.

i am a trained piercer and it hurts because there are hair folicles and nerve endings there and it not so much that it hurts as that it makes yaeye water for a sec then its done. you hear a pop and feel a scratch but then its all done

YES it hurts like hell. it's like being punched in the face,and it'll make your eyes water, dont want to be neg but you need to know what you're letting yourself in for. up side - it does look great and you soon forget how bad it hurt (untill you answer Q like this one) good luck. xx
