I can tell this with absolutely certainty. Cowher is going to take one year off, two years at the absolute most, he'll come back in a season or two or and some team is going to offer him the better part of a billion dollars(exaggerative) to become their head coach. The only reason he stuck around Pittsburgh for so long is that Rooney and Cowher both knew it was the only way that either of them would get a Superbowl ring in the very forseeable future, well it payed off quite well. He's going to hang out in North Carolina and stroke his meat and come back in 2008 to coach some team full of poor bastards and that will be that. In any event, he's not going back to Pittsburgh, ever.

Not this season. Maybe in a season or two he might but only to a team other than the Steelers and for more money than he was paid by Pittsburgh.

Yea, he will come back. He's taking atleast a year off and he'll be the highest paid coach in the NFL.

Bill Cowher is taking at least one year off from coaching. Nobody knows what he'll do after his break.

NOoooo he's gone - not coming back. Nope.

At least NOT to the Steelers - maybe someday down the line to someplace else - but not for a couple of years.

I think Cowher does come back. I think he takes at least 2 years off though.
