The were originally from Boston,
then when they moved to foxbourough stadium, they changed the name to New England.
which is sort of wierd, because you could call the Seahawks the Northwestern Seahawks instead of Seattle.

Foxboro, Massachusetts. They originally started as the Boston Patriots of the AFL. They played at Fenway Park on Friday nights because most of the area was NY Giants fans, who played on Sunday.
