So- I have a 2 1/2 month old daughter, And, I got my 1rst period on the 18th of last month. It lasted 5 days. Pretty normal for me.

Today is the 18th, and no period, And no signs of it coming soon either.

Is it possible that I could be pregnant again?
(Yes, My fiance and I have been sexually active)

Or- Could it be that my periods are kind of outta whack?

If I were to take a test, It should be accurate right?

As all of my previous pregnancy 'hormones' should well be gone by now.

I am not breastfeeding.

And my last child, Is my 3rd.

I have an 8 year old, a 21 month old, And then her, My 2 1/2 month old.

[sigh] I thought we were being pretty careful...He's used condoms almost every time, And the maybe, 3 times he hasn't, He's made sure to pull out before he actually does 'his thing'...Lol.

I took a test last night, One of the ones that says it can predict up to 5 days early. (And according to last month, I was already late, so it should have been good)...anyway, It was negative. :] Hoorah. So it must just be my periods being all whacky.

Yes! You could be pregnant. Or your hormones could just be out of whack. I have 4 kids and with 3, my periods were extremely regular right after delivery. With my 4th, they were totally different, irratic and very long.

If you take a pregnancy test, it should tell you if you're pregnant. The pregnancy hormone that high (that makes the test positive) goes down very soon after birth, like within days. I'm pretty sure the drop is what causes ppd.

The only reason it wouldn't be accurate is if you are testing "too early" (less than like 3 days before your body's expected period, not neccesarily when you expect it). But it's not that uncommon to have your periods "off" after delivery.

Are you breastfeeding?? I hear if you breastfeed (although you can still become pregnant) it makes things a little more difficult. Or maybe your body is still ajusting. But of course the obvious, you may very well be pregnant. You can ether get the morning after pill if you don't want children so close together. Or enjoy the ride again. Take a test ASAP. And keep me posted :) good luck.

It is very possible for you to be pregnant again. Alot of women get pregnant right after having a child because you are very fertile at that time. My suggestion is get a test done ASAP.

I would have the test done at the doctor and have him check you out. everyone's hormones go at different times. But, it is definitely possible that you are pregnant. My sister was pregnant as soon as her son turned 2 months!! YIKES....

Sounds like you could be. Take a test and if it's positive, see a doctor to be sure of the results.
Oops.

Yes, you can test now and it would be accurate. You could be pregnant or it could just be an off cycle.

well... it coiuld be either that your body is adjusting after birth- or you've got one more coming fast... you should be able to take test and get an accurate result sometime in the next few days....

good luck

you could be pregnant because you are extremely fertile after giving birth. but your periods could also be out of whack from giving birth so i'd consult a doctor.
