Yes. give your spouse a chance to make a conscious decision on whether or not they want out of the marriage.

If you did this...you have no idea the pain and emotional scars you have caused your spouse.

Yes, you should tell. You shouldn't cheat at all, but you should tell, yes it's going to hurt when you tell your spouse, but honestly if you don't hide it and they find out from you rather than someone else, they may be more forgiving because you were honest and came out and told them.

yes you should tell them... Honesty is the best policy... IF this was me I would feel so guilty i would not be able to sleep at night and even look at my spouse in the eyes... I would tell him and ask him for forgiveness and i would be truley sorry for doing this to him and my marriage. Besides it is better that you tell them then to have them find out some other way.

NO. cheaters, who feel guilty, tell their partners about affairs, not because the other person should know, but because they have a difficult time keeping a secret.
Telling your partner about an affair, is a Selfish Act.
so you made a mistake...keep your mouth shut. There is no need to hurt your partner.

now, if you are cheating and then giving your partner some kind of std, well then...I guess you need to fess up.

u need to introspect and ask urself y u cheated in the first place?....and after u sort it out internally...then have adetailed discussion with ur spouse...telling her y u chated, and assuring her that u understand dat it was wrong and u wud not do it again!...
merely informing ur spouse will not solve things....u need to be sure u wudnt do it again!

Of course you should! And shame on the one that cheated. Marriage is about honesty, without that, you don't have a chance of keeping your marriage together. Maybe the other will forgive, but it just depends. Definitely tell though. You owe it to them.

If you honestly respect your spouse...be honest and tell them, because if they found out any other way....it will hurt worse.

of corse you SHOULD tell them!! You shouldn't even cheat on them in the first place though. Because if you cheat on them it's telling them that you don't really love them and don't really like being with them!!! I HATE CHEATERS. They suck at life!!!

First up, you shouldnt cheat on your spouse.
Second, if you did, and you feel guilty, well, fess up if it makes you feel better, but you shouldn't have done it in the first part should you..you deserve what you get.
THird, if you don't feel guilty, why are you asking this.
