People cheat for a combination of reasons:
1. Feeling a need
2. Lack of ability or interest to fill that need with their spouse
3. Lack of self control and/or morals
The specifics of the situation contribute to all of those, but essentially, that's it.

You can truly love your husband and crave attention, sex, compassion, conversation, smiles,
laughter, if you have ask for it from him and he denies it to you. Then by all means find someone who will make you happy. Same goes for men. He has been warned. Why should a woman do without? Would a man? Anyone who has been married for a long time 15+ years will agree with me on this one. And when more people realize this maybe there won't be any more cheating, but more honest communications going on. Sometimes the truth hurts.

A woman who truly loves her husband would not cheat. But people cheat for any number of reasons, boredom, lack of excitement in their own marriage. I think that everyone can agree that the excitement of a new relationship is awesome, a high! However, that will undoubtedly wear off and she will realize what she has done and I believe in many cases will come back to the comfort of her loving spouse. Can a woman realize the error of her ways and can a marriage be saved? that would depend on the willingness of both partners.

She can truly love her husband, but, does he truly love her.
Is he fulfilling her needs.
Most women cheat because they have been completely deprived of attention and affection from their husbands.
There is a complete shutdown of communication, lack of respect, abuse, etc.
When the woman has attempted everythng to try to get this guy to notice her and spend time with her and all fails, she is the emptiest, loneliest, being you can imagine.
She has been stripped of her self-esteem and refuses to give up her dignity.
She becomes vulnerable and when someone actually notices her, and pays attention to her, she feels alive again and usually will cheat because she is starving for affection. Deep down she really does not want to do this, but the asshole in her life, pushed her to make a decision she never ever wanted to make.
If she decides not to cheat, she gets good and angry and takes a really good honest look at her life and faces the truth and one day at a time she begins to take back control of her life and her goal is to be honest with herself and take on a new vow that she has the right to get rid of loneliness and welcome friendship and joy into her new leaf on life.

This is because they are selfish and only looking out for what they want in the marriage and not what is best for the marriage or their spouse.... Any woman or man who truley love their spouse will not even want or think about going out and cheating!

I think it is all about how secure you feel in the relatinship, if the person you are with does not give you the attention that you need
it doesnt matter how much you love them you are going to find that attention somewhere. Being in a relationship means that you have to be there for that person and continue to build them up everyday.

She or he is just filling what they perceive to be a void in their lives. Maybe their lonely or horny or crave the thrill of the hunt, so to say. Whatever the reason, it's usually an attempt to avoid dealing with their current situation.

curiousity. . . cheating is usually always on impulse or instinct. . . logic usually has nothing to do with cheating, unless revenge is the reason for cheating.
