'Don't stop me now' (I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball......!!!) by Queen, makes me happy EVERY time and it's so old, but I defy you not to want to get up and dance (or at least imagine you're dancing your a*s off Flashdance or Footloose style!)
Wicked question!

"Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts" from Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" LP. The song is like a short novel. I don't think anyone ever made a video of it, but I can imagine in my head the characters--a gambler in a handlebar mustache and a vest, the "hanging judge," the way the women dressed and looked in those days--and the gambling hall, and all of the goings on just as if it was a movie I'd seen. If I ever had the chance to make a movie myself, that's the one I'd want to try to film.

Good choice. This is a hard one since my favorite song of the moment depends on my mood. My favorite song is "Imagine" by John Lennon but it can be sad so I would'nt want to only hear it all the time. I guess I'd pick something by Johnny Cash because of the great beat and stories. Perhaps "RIng of Fire" or "Jackson" sung with June Carter.

Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall." Appeals to my inner anarchist. Plus it has a great guitar solo.
