I started giving my daugther oatmal cereal, she had rice cereal for a month, now I m giving the oatmeal. I find that it has changed her bowel movements though, before she went once a day, now it seems every other day. Is that ok? Should I stop the oatmeal, or is it normal for bowel movements to change once they start different foods?

It depends on how old she is. Oatmeal is a very fibrous grain, and if she's still very young, her digestive system may not be mature enough to process it properly. I'd stick to rice and farina (cream of wheat) a little longer if you're just introducing solid foods.

Perfectly normal for bm's to change. My daughter could not tolerate anything but the rice cereal. You can give her a bit of prune juice diluted with water, about twice a week.

i'm hoping it particularly is incredibly sarcasm I discover in this question- that's ridiculous that u . s . of america needs to end same-intercourse marriages, and it reward no person. Drop the "Civil-Union" or definition of Marriage, and embody the splendid of somebody to make the existence he or she needs for themselves. If at the instant couples are taxed for his or her union, then so ought to gay couples. they must the two get an identical reward and be allowed an identical recognition. in spite of if human beings choose to correctly known it or no longer, gay adult males and girls do stay in unions at the same time-in case you circulate away them out of accepted jobs and reward then you definately are actually not speaking out against gay marriage. you're denying freedom you're taking for granite from yet another American Citizen.

Oatmeal has more fiber than rice cereal that may be why.

its normal for them to change habits when they start something new.it takes time for their body to adjust.I think its ok to stay with the oatmeal, but maybe slow it down just a bit. That way her body will have more time to adjust. If she starts to get fussy or seems to be having trouble going, I would back off for a few days.

It's normal. Every kind of new food will affect her BM. But if you're too worried, call your pediatrician. Although, it's normal.
