That depends on how you define best:
Best talentwise: Dan Marino or Peyton Manning
Best regarding most Superbowl wins: Terry Bradshaw
Best performance in a Superbowl: Joe Montana or Tom Brady
Best endurance quarterback: Brett Favre
Strongest throwing arm: John Elway
Best performance as a rookie: Ben Roethlisberger
My picks as best would be Marino and Manning. Winning a Superbowl is more dependent on the team as a whole being great and not as the quarterback being great. Rex Grossman has basically the worst quarterback rating in the NFL this year. Should he be considered one of the great quarterbacks of all time if his team wins the Superbowl this year? In my opinion, he shouldn't.

The best quarterback as far as the physical aspects and all the tools would have to be Dan Marino and Peyton Manning. Quarterback is also mental and thats why Joe Montana and Tom Brady are probably the best of all time.

Montana, Marino, the usual suspect I see. How about otto Graham though. Check him out on the internet. He even retired for a season and came back and won the NFL title the next year.

Dan Marino
Still hold the record for most passing yards and touchdown passes.
Brett Favre almost has the record for most thrown interceptions...that isn't something the best of all time would have
Steve Young is quite good as far as accuracy and QB rating.

Dan Marino is best retired
Tom Brady is the best playing
As to the one who said Steve Young I have to give him props but not the best of all time. Yeah he followed a legend and he was almost at the level of Montana. Have to show him some respect for that. It doesn't make him better then Montana though.

I could see the Cardinals possibly going for a veteran free agent signing like Donovan McNabb or Vince Young, but there will be no free agency until the lockout ends so nothing for now.

If you know football, you have to consider Otto Graham. He guided the Browns to 10 straight title games and seven championships. Nine times out of 10 seasons, he was named first team All-Pro.
