My freind came to me and asked me how soon can you tell you are pregnant and i had no idea she missed her period all of december started her period the 2nd of january than stopped on the 5th had sex on the 6th and she's been feeling sick for about a weel and certain smells make her sick to her stomach and she has been throwing up in the morning she asked if it could be to early to tell if she was pregnant?

Some tests can tell as soon as 72 hours you have to ask your doctor which tests tell the fastest. If she cant go to doctor at this time there are several organizations in every area that do free pregnancy testing and they will do one and allow you to come back later for a confirmation test.

If she had a regular period in January, she couldn't have gotten pregnant the next day. But some women can have almost a regular period during pregnancy, so she could have been pregnant before (if she was sexually active). Or she could just have a stomach bug. Tell her to take a pregnancy test to be sure.

She needs to take a test. If she is then she needs to get medical attention and starting taking prenatal vitamins and such.
She might be stressing herself out and making her body thing she is pregnant. Without a test there is no way to know.
She needs to make sure she ALWAYS uses protection and she also needs to make sure she's on the pill or some other form of birth control. Also, when she started bleeding earlier this month, it might have just been spotting rather then an actual period.
It sounds like you are both young. She needs a test and needs to talk to her parent(s) and get to a doctor!

yes she probably is pregnant i am 8 weeks pregnant and i knew a long time be for this yes cert in smells will make you sick no it is not to early to tell . have her get a test done so she can go on with life knowing of she is or not if so congratulations

its not too early tell her to go ahead and take a test, I found out i was pregnant with my second child when I was a week away from being late on my monthly, and I was only 3 weeks preg. at the time

Nope tell her if she is already feeling symptoms it is safe to go ahead and test, if it comes negative it is safe to say she was just stressing and that is why her period is not normal.
