I used to think that too. I was 40 when I got divorced and I was so surprised at the number of really nice guys who wanted a long-term relationship and marriage. These weren't sloppy, lazy, downtrodden guys, but really nice ones who are ready, willing and able to make a woman happy. Perhaps they learned a lesson from a prior marriage, but hey, so did I. The long and short of it is that whether you have children or not, are 40 or 50 or older, there are lovely men out there who want what you have to offer.

Are you still alive?? Heck yeah you are... So live it up and find that mr. right, he is out there waiting for you right now... Theres no age limit on marriage... Ive seen women in thier 50's gets some really great guys... And besides 40 is still young.. I think your chances are very high..... Good luck, I know you will do great at finding him....

People can be cruel, I'm looking for a new woman but my age is the cut off point and ten years younger, I feel like that's a bad thing. but I'm not attracted to older women, never have been.. But on the lighter side LOTS of men are, you'll be fine.. :o)

its only true if you think it is . . .
think positive and be the wiser from the past experience? just remember too, you're a mature person who can have a better relationship?
dont let the unpleasant past affects you but instead learnt from it and be wiser.

I remarried at 39 and had a child at 40. So, yes, it's certainly possible.

Are you kidding? I am 39 and I newly single....with kids. I think you have to exude confidence and not try too hard. There are so many single men out there, and they are not all young! Avoid bars for meeting potentials and if you have kids, I feel it is really important to keep your dating and kids separate to respect their feelings. It is usually hard for them and you do not want people popping in then out of their lives. Good luck & have fun!
