If I were you, I'd take vitamin C every few hours and drink hot herbal tea. Peppermint tea especially helps clear out the sinuses. Get lots of rest and stay hydrated. You might also try taking a hot shower and see if the steam helps clear out your sinuses. (A hot shower is safe. Just don't take a really hot bath because it could make things too hot for your little one. :) ) For congestion in your lungs, take one teaspoon of prepared mustard orally and then don't eat or drink anything for a little while in order to give it a chance to clear out the phlegm. This is an old remedy that I have used many times for me and for family members and it really works wonders. Good luck and I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Well all Obs have different feelings on cold meds so give your office a call, the nurse there will be more than happy to help you out, a pharmsist will most likely tell you nothing is safe!

Tylenol and Robutussin were the two my Dr. told me I cold take. A little home remedy my mom used with me and my sister when we had sore throats was warm honey and lemon juice. It tastes pretty good and you don't have to take medication.
Good luck :)

My doctor gave me a safe drug list and on there is Tylenol Cold and Flu/Sinus. It works awesome. That's what I live on when I get colds right now.

I had a really bad cold when I was about 6 months pregnant. My doctor gave me a nazal decongestant and Robitusian with no alcohal. You can also take throat losages as long as there are no alcohal in them.

Anything made by tylenol. My midwife gave me a chart of safe meds, see if your healthcare professional can give you some sort of the same thing. For future reference, www.safefetus.com is a wonderful site.

DO NOT TAKE TYLENOL. Its not safe, my child cannot take it now, because I used it for a migrane (The headache had lasted 8 days).
I suggest Decaf Black tea with a little bit of lemon, or peppermint tea.
Also get star light mints have them handy.. works for sore throats.

ask your doctor. some things are safe, but it depends on how far along you are. just call your doctors office and they will be able to tell you. one of the above answers said tylenol plus cold- i was told that you can only take regular tylenol so ask before you take it.

anything tylenol is safe. i would stay away from multi symptom medicines. treat only the congestion and the sore throat. i don't see the need to treat symptoms you don't have.
