Yes, I believe it is.

Here we have this incredibly complex and endless universe, but built right into it is mathematics. A completely abstract yet completely real system with the ability to accurately quantify everything.

Can you build something into fabric? I like your use of "fabric of physical reality," though. Like fabric, there are a lot of holes in our perception of physical reality.

Like fabric, when you get down to a microscopic or subatomic level, you realize that it is mostly holes, or "empty" space.

So, since physical reality is not nearly as solid as it appears; since it is composed of elements far more complex than it appears, it is mostly false, wouldn't you say?

But, your truth has a capital T, so you're going beyond visual perception, I assume.

In which case, consider the fact that all physical things are impermanent, constantly changing, and ... still... just "things."

That doesn't sound like Truth, does it? No, Truth is found in ideas, notions, spiritual matters, philosophies, observations of not just physical reality but the interaction of physical things through time, etc.

Truth, as Plato would have told you, is not the physical reality of a chair, but the IDEA of a chair. Or "chairness," the quality that all chairs share.

That IDEA is forever. It exists without us. We merely tap into it with our own understanding and experience of chairs. Same with every "thing."

So, whatever metaphor you want to use, you could say: Truth is at the core of all physical reality; Truth is the source of the fabric; if the "fabric" is cotton in your metaphor, then I'd say Truth is the water that the cotton's roots are seeking; if the "fabric" is wool, then it's the water that makes the grass that feeds the sheep that makes the wool; if the "fabric" is the periodic table of elements that makes up all known physical reality, then where is Truth?

Maybe it's the period in periodic.

No.

Truth is a relation of a description to reality. If i flip a coin the statement "the coin is heads up" is either true or false. The truth belongs to the statement and its relatuion to reality (the actual state if the coin), the statement (and thus the truth of that statement) is not built into that state of the coin.

Physical reality is built on relative truth, not absolute truth. Absolute truth is not subject to physical limitations or perception, perspective, opinion, or belief. For instance, it is true that the chair is real, but relative to time, place, and circumstance. The chair's physical reality is temporary, and therefore the truth of it's existence is also temporary, and rendered relative.
