I am having twins in March, a little girl and a little boy, I had pretty much decided to name my little girl Catherine Rose but then I heard her first name with the name Elizabeth, now I'm trying to decide whether I should name her Catherien Rose or Catherine Elizabeth, which one sounds better to all of you?

I know I'm going to be naming my little boy Tomas Xavier, and I think both Catherine Rose and Catherine Elizabeth sounds fine next to his names.

I think Catherine Elizabeth sounds better. It flows better. But really, it's all in what you think.

I prefer Catherine Rose.
Actually I like both. Just use the C instead of the K.
But you could always go with Catherine Elizabeth Rose. It isnt that uncommon now for children to have 3 names.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! I too have boy/girl twins (19 months) and it is so amazing!

I think both names sound great...LOVE the name Catherine. For some reason, I like the way it sounds with Elizabeth a little better. It sounds so sweet as a baby name, but will also be an elegant and graceful name for her as a grown woman. Also, when you say it with Tomas Xavier, both middle names have they same number of syllables, which I think sounds really nice.

Best of luck to you!

Well I would have to say Catherine Elizabeth sounds better (have you said them both with your last name? that's where you need to decide. Remember, they're going to have to learn to spell all that too. Sometimes a challenge for a little one). Have you considered Elizabeth Rose???? Also consider monograms with your last name (e.g. - if your last name is Young and you name her Catherine Rose then her initials are CRY!) Seriously, you need the big picture. Good luck and congrats!

Catherine Elisabeth

I love both, especially Catherine Elizabeth. But, it does matter what the middle name is just because if the last name is long her full name will be very, very long. However, if the last name isn't that long, Catherine Elizabeth would be great!

Catherine Rose, is beautiful too!

Congrats and good luck!
