and is there anything that increases the chance of a false (+)? Does intercourse about an hour before testing have an effect? Thank you!

They are like 99% right. So go by what it says. If you don't like that invest in a clear blue fertility monitor. U can get one on ebay for like 100 dollars with the sticks. I really highly recomend them they work great!

The positive just tells you that an LH surge was detected. You may or may not ovulate in the next 48 hours. Intercourse would not affect the test.

False positives are very rare, but possible. Intercourse does not affect it. Wait a few days and test again.

You have a 2% or less chance that it is incorrect. Sex an hour before could, MAYBE, effect the test, but I don't think so. The tests are designed to detect hormone / chemical changes due to pregnancy, not sperm.

I believe that you had a (+) ovulation test. I do not believe that having sex before taking the test would affect the test because it is measuring your levels. Have sex the next couples of days...

GOOD LUCK!
