Hi! Implantation bleeding sounds like all of the things you are describing in your questions. Most of the time you'll only notice the bleeding when you wipe and it will be pinkish or brownish. Usually it will happen for a couple of days (sometimes it can last up to 5 days and be a little heavier). Normally implantaion bleeding happens anywhere from 10 - 14 days past ovulation, but usually around 11 or 12 days past ovulation. Hope this helps!

Implantation bleeding usually is pinkish or brownish and shows up mostly when you wipe. I was told by a nurse that it can last 1 to 2 days. It occurs after the egg has already attached itself into your uterus. So that means, you have to ovulate first (about half way into your menstrual cycle). I've read that the egg can implant itself into your lining anywhere from 5 to 11 days after ovulation. Also, some people mistaken implantation bleeding for their normal period. However, if you're worried about being pregnant, I'd recommend that you take a pregnancy test the day your period is supposed to come (which I'm assuming is now). Implantation bleeding is not a reliable nor a common indication of pregnancy. There could be other causes for the bleeding, such as an infection. So my recommendation is take a pregnancy test and talk to a doctor about it. Another thing to consider is your age. If you are young and just starting your menstrual cycle, this could just be your body trying to regulate itself and establish a normal cycle. Good luck.

Unfortunately, this is not a good sign. It is possible, that all is well. If it persists more that 3 or 4 days, I'd call the doctor's office and see what they have to say. The nursing staff can usually answer basic questions. They could give you some guidelines.
Good Luck!!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
