The Sugar Water Festival, 2005. OMG!!! That was like a dream to me. Floetry opened the show for about 20min (NOT long enough). Then Queen Latifah came out and showed us much love. She sang, she rapped, she was beautiful. Then we were blessed with Jill Scott. I was in awe. I got to witness this lady's range, up close and personal. She hit those notes like she was singing the opera. And the show was closed with Erykah Badu. This was my first time seeing her live and she was out of this world. Our seats were front row center so it doesn't get any better than that. It was so beautiful.
