Go Downtown and play the penny slots at the old Gold Spike.
Get a shrimp cocktail at the Golden Gate.
Watch the free Freemont Experience evenings downtown.
On saturday or sunday morning hit the big swap meet on North Las Vegas Blvd
Get good exercise everyday - take a long walk.
Go to a movie
Don't be afraid to try the bus. It is a wonderful bus system. You can get most any place in town for a buck. No need for car rental.
Take bus to Nellis AFB watch the fighters jets come and go.
Hit the thrift shops on Main Street.
Try a seafood buffet.
Stretch your gambling cash. I suggest 5c poker machines.

They are all "must do" activities here. But it depends on what you like. They have something for everything. Here are some tricks to Vegas.
If your gonna gamble:
Don't spread it out! Limit all your gambling to one place. Register with the casino host once you first arrive and make sure they know every time you spend a cent. That is the only way to get any comps any more. The natural desire is to try your luck all over the place and visit them all, but trust me if you spread it out they wont realize how much you are spending.
If you wanna go to clubs:
Clubs can get real pricy especially if you wanna see more then one. Not to mention the hours of time you will waste in line for these mega clubs. The best way to party your *ss off in Vegas is to get a Vegas Passport. You can either prepurchase them or buy one at the airport when you get here. They are by far the best deal in town. For one price you get admission to every club in town once and you don't have to wait in line either. It gets your right in. VIP all the way! You can pick one up at http://www.vegas-passport.com/?a_aid=thevegashustler
Hittin' up the attractions:
There is just tooo much to see and so little time. To get the most out of your trip and not spend all your time researching every little fact about Vegas, get a City Tour. Shop around for the best deal for your needs. There are even custom packages available. Everything from Hoover Dam, Helicopter ride over the Strip, Historic Downtown (scary by yourself), Arts District, History of the Casinos, and a whole lot more. They will show you stuff about Vegas that you never knew you wanted to know. :)
As far as the Strip, take the time to venture for yourself. It's an easy walk cause there is so much to do and see along the way. You can easily waste and entire day just doing that.
Good Luck and have fun in the greatest city in the world!
- Hustla' Mike (Workin' this town over, so you don't have to!)

-Go to the top of the Stratosphere.
-Hit Green Valley Station in Henderson & Red Rock Casino in Summerlin.
-Hoover Dam is fun, the drive, not so fun, but overall, fun
-Drive by Towbin Dodge while they're filming for A & E & pretend like you want to buy a car and then leave.

Visit as many hotels as you can on the strip, each have their own theme and have some kind of free attraction or entertainment. Also visit the old section (Freemont experience) I believe great laser show above you, music and cheaper
gambling. One of my favorite places...
