why is my computer screen so small?

I just had to reinstall my inspiron 1100's operating system :( and after I have everything back to "normal" my lcd screen is only at like 3/4 full to the size of the monitor. How do I get it back to full screen?

Go To Desk Top,Right Ckick Properties,settings,Screen Resolution.

Then drag the pointer along to the last dash.It saves these settings if you click Ok or you can go back and revert to before.
