I'm putting my 3 year old in swimming lessons this summer, but she'll be 4. Next year is t-ball when she's 5, then on to softball. If she wants to play that is.

I think it's too much for your little girl to do all of that in a summer.

Swimming

Swimming is the best option followed by soccor.

Swimming is not only a life-saving skill but it is a great form of exercise and, if properly encouraged, she can develop a love of swimming and exercise.

Soccor is great to keep her running and exercised but she might not stay as interested in it at the young age of three.

Good luck with her!

Yes - too many is right. Summer is all about swimming and running in the sprinkler. Take her to swimming lessons. The rest can wait until she goes to school.

I don't think it's too much if she doesn't have a problem keeping up. An active lifestyle is good thing. Better to have a few more summer activities that to have her sitting around the house playing video games or watching TV right?

Mmm... Yes. Mebbe T-ball or Soccer, pick one to do as well as having swimming lessons. So, T-ball and swimming lessons. Or Soccer and swimming lessons. That way she gets the swimming lessons (which are berry good to have) and then she can have another sport as well with a team atmosphere.

For a 3 yr. old? I think one of the three is enough, maybe 2. Kids are supposed to be playing and having fun at 3, you don't want to overburden them with a 10 yr. old's schedule already... Plus, you need to leave some time for creativity. Structure is great, but it definitely limits that.

She's 3? I'd just go with the swimming, next year add soccer, then the next year, T-ball. My daughter did T-ball at 5, all she did was make dust angels in the outfield. lol.

Swimming is definitely to her advantage. Plus it's dangerous for her not to know. As a lesser consequence, you don't want her to feel left out at a kid's pool party, right?

Hell yeah it's to much! Swimming lessons are plenty. She's only three! Sounds like your man wanted a boy!
