bollywood is the hollywood of india where most (but not all) films are musicals and love stories. Every now and there, some gangster flicks, comedies, scary movies, adventure movies, and dramas also release. Let me list a few good films which are not love stories. Rang de basanthi, sarkar, earth, lage raho munna bhai, fire, company, omkara and don...A few good love stories are, hum dil de chuke sanam, veer-zaara, jaan-e-mann(differant), paheli(also differant), Dor. There are many others as well. The indian film industry releases around 900 films per year and is much larger than hollywood. There are two other film industries in south india such as tollywood and kollywood.
