Do they turn into basket cases after seeing their faces on the news over and over again portrayed as jokes?

last nite my husband said that they should have counselors there, i mean, what if someone went into the restroom and killed themselves? i know some of these people go in just to be on tv, and wear a silly costume and act stupid on purpose. but you can tell some of them are serious. some have spent a lot of $ and time, even quitting their jobs to wait in line for days. they are shattered. i think it is only a matter of time before something bad happens.

The show has a mix of losers and winners-Half of the idiotic people who try out are hoping to get some camera time.
The producers know what they are doing-so,i say no.
The losers are happy and the viewers at home are happy.
The ratings go up,and that makes $.

Just wait there will be some scandal this year because I guarantee you someone will put a gun it their mouth just to get recognition. I have always wondered if and depression or psychosis has been called by Simon.

Let's hope so. Seriously, if you wear t-bone underpants into the lion's den, you better expect to get bitten. It's nobody's fault but their own. Nobody made them audition.

Shame is a wonderful tool. More people need it in their lives, but damn if that ain't some good entertainment!
