Ok,,,me went thru the drive thru at Arby's.. I ordered a MEDIUM roast beef...PLAIN....no fries, no drink.....my final cost was $2.86..
outrageous or realistic for roast beef?????

The price is realistic. Follow the beef from the field to your sandwich and you will see why.

I got rooked like that at arby's once. I got 2 regular roast beef, a large curly fry, and a jamocha shake and it came to like $9.85 or something. Afterwards, I realized I could have gotten all the same stuff, plus one more item for that 5 for $5.95 deal. Nice of the cashier to tell me that. Sometimes they do, you know, if you order a bunch of separate stuff they say "this would be cheaper if you got this meal deal" or whatever.

Thats crazy at my arby's you can order the whole combo for that much.
