I have applied to 3 colleges myself, but my boyfriend is struggling to graduate, and has no real plan on what he wants to do. I don't want to seem like a pushy girlfriend by forcing him to start making decisions, but I want to be with someone whose life is actually going somewhere. I'm not saying that he has to go to college, but at least have a plan.

You are watching the evolution of a relationship unfold before your eye... You are growing apart, because of your different directions for your future. Don't pressure him. Do your thing, set your path and let life happen... It just might be your wake up call that you need to move on and let him be who he is....

Sometimes it takes people a long time to decide about the future. Ask him about his interests. Don't make him think he has to make a decision right now. It might even be better if he just enrolls in a local community college and takes general courses while he works part time. The worst thing you can do is spend a lot of money on an education and then not even be interested in what you're doing.

Suggest he start college without declaring a major.
There a re tests that you can take that show what you are good at doing - and what you might like - that may help guide him....
Go to school anyway - what your major is is of little regard to employers - just that you have the degree...
