I mean we all know that D-Day is coming... How do we prepare for something like that?

We're probably living on borrowed time anyway, but I hope it doesn't happen for a long time.
I think if we pull out of Iraq too soon it will speed up the process. The more I read the more I'm convinced that the military chose Iraq to be close to where the real problems exist, ie: IRAN. Maybe we can slow down their nuclear bomb aspirations if we're still there a few more years. Who knows?

Live every day as though it were your last.
Be kind, humble, forgiving, patient, considerate, thirst for knowledge, encourage, listen, say I love you....all those things that bring positivity to this world can lay the ground work to avoid a so called D-Day.
If everyone anticipates the end of humanity it will come, only because anything you put out into the universe will in some shape or form manifest itself. Create a positive environment for yourself and those around you - you will never need to fear the coming of the end.

Have you watched the show Jericho...it should be coming back on soon. That show is all about Nukes hitting big cities and how the people in this small town react.Watch it once and you will be hooked.I think it is on CBS.

I think the lucky ones during the nuke are the ones who die automatically. They wont have to worry about the radiation, fallout, diseases, plague, people who go crazy and try to kill survivors for their stuff, comtaminated water and food and lots of other problems.
If you insist on trying to prepare, stock up on tons of canned food and water, medical supplies, salt, weapons, clothing etc

id get food and water along with other consumables into my basement. i dont have an underground shelter so i guess it wouldnt last too long before someone tries to brake in and take my ****. so many things can go wrong!

Well, since "W" is almost the exact opposite of David Palmer, I am hoping and praying that our government has a real Jack Bauer type somewhere in our midst...otherwise, we're screwed....
