According to Channel 4's BB site, Shilpa says she feels Jade was not being racist. Finally, she sees some sense. Jade is a loudmouth and says what she feels, but if it was racism, surely she would be like that with Jermaine Jackson?

I like Jade too, have thought it pathetic how this has all gone way out of proportion....

The IDIOTS that decided this was a race thing will not back down.
If they are stupid enough to believe that a race war was kicking off just because Jermaine ' Michael is an angel' Jackson decided to stir up racial tension, they will not listen to someone (Shilpa)who is so obviously in fear of her life from the Third Reich (Jade, Jo and Danielle).
If people had actually been watching and paying a modicum of attention, they would have seen and heard Jermaine telling BB it was a race thing.
He then went and convinced Shilpa it was a race thing.
To top it all off, he KEPT manipulating events so that Shilpa came across as confrontational.
EVERYONES behaviour has not been at their best in the Big Brother House... However........
What have I learned from this?
1/ DONT TRUST JERMAINE!
2/ Saying something in anger to a person different from you, will cause the home country of that person to turn against you. (even if the comment wasn't racist)
3/ Saying something in anger against someone different from you, will cause your home country to apologise for your behaviour and the general public to rise up against you. (even if the comment wasnt racist)
4/ Mocking the accent of someone is racist. (so shoot EVERYONE that does impressions or acts in 'regional' dramas)
5/ Serving uncooked chicken is perfectly acceptable and you shouldn't say anything about it. ('cos it's racist apparently)
6/ Touching someones food with your hands is perfectly acceptable. (NEXT TIME YOU ARE IN A RESTAURANT DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING WHEN I POKE THROUGH YOUR FOOD TO CHECK IT'S COOKED!)
This whole fiasco has been handled badly and most of the people calling it a major racist incident are themselves guilty of racism because they (Like Jermaine) see colour of skin before anything else!
This is a Culture thing NOT race!
As you can probably tell I have strong feelings about this mess!

a mountain has been made out of a molehill, a mosquito into an elephant, jade thick cow that she is is not racist, shilpa is not used to the ways of speech over here, result culture clash or misunderstanding but definitely not racism. If this shilpa can see it that way and use common sense and jade can temper her ugly gob then all should be well. What is amazing is the indian subcontinent suddenly are all experts on cBB when half the UK still cant receive Channel 4, just shows how hysteria can spread globally (and dangerously).

No i dont think it is racism ..... there have been Asian women in Big Brother before and this has never happened. This is pure jealousy. They are threatened by her and are picking on every little detail which is what many women do when they are insecure about themselves. Shilpa makes them feel insecure of there looks, status, success etc. She has all these things and they cannot take it.
However they have made fun of her accent, told her to f**k of home, said Indian people undercook food and are also poor like them. You can see why they are offended. Many of these comments were said by Jo so she had better get her share of boos

i dont think it has much to do with the original issue
i did like jade, never used to but when i saw how she was getting upset for other people (before all the shilpa crap) i thought she was kind
now i just think shes an ignorant cow

well iv`e got news for you lot
the majority of people in this country are loud mouthed and common or was you lot too busy sticking your pinky finger out while you were drinking your tea,and making sure you didn`t drop an H to notice
and thats how people are ,i am not in any way shape or form a racist but i will say what i want if i call a white person i call them the first thing i notice about them ,including the accent and the same goes for any one else and its up to them to call me back (thats how it`s allways been here )
if every one didn`t have to walk on egg shells before they opened their mouth they might get on a bit better
next time they might have cultured good mannered inteligent conversation BB and you lot can go in
but i can`t see any one wanting to watch it, it`ll be as exciting as the Queens speech

Jade is a lound mouth,thin air in the brain,nuffin but no good,she gets lound, she's not pretty, looks like a pig go bak in farm I HATE HER SHE IS RACIST. WHEN YOU IS RACIST THEN U R RACIST TO ANY COLOUR BUT YOURSELF. she does not pick of jermaine because she knows that she will get slapped and jermaine will tell her off plus when she comes on black people will be against also the fact that SHILPA IS TOO NICE AND WON'T KNOCK JADE ONE.

2. Racism is not always rational. They may not see Jermaine as so obviously foreign and 'different' (perhaps because Brits are used to seeing black Americans in the media)

Jade Goody is a disgrace. How on earth the media decided to make her a 'celebrity' is beyond me. She's a loud-mouthed, ignorant, ill educated and uncouth moron. sadly she's also ugly as sin and i make a point of avoiding any programme she manages to get onto. I would not buy anything she advertises, sponsors or appears in and even crappy magazines like OK describe her as beautiful and talented. Let's be honest she's got the IQ of a growbag and having made her name on such a rubbishy programme as Big Brother says it all.

i think the way Jade went off on one the other night was out of order to Shilpa but its sooooo bl*ody frustrating coz if Jade was picking on that Jo or Danielle NOTHING WOULD BE SAID!!!!! it wouldnt be on the news, there wouldnt be over 10'000 complaints & we wouldnt have our prime minister making comments on it! it would just be a bit of gossip but because its a different nationality people go mad & pull the race card all the time

No, because like someone wrote, Shilpa isn't hearing the rude racist comments they are saying behind her back.
If you can't see the racial overtones in these witches comments, then I think people need to take a step back and look in the mirror.
