There have been 6 great events in my life, the first two were the births of my children, the next one would be marrying my husband and the final three would be the births of my grand children. Nothing will ever top those....

So far, birth.

The next event will be death, unless I have kids of my own, then their birth would classify in the meantime.

Interesting that when you frame it this way the whole point seems to be to be born, have kids, then die.

Everything else is just to occupy time in between. Don't believe that really, but its all pretty insignificant by comparison regardless how many important things happen.

Good question.

Marriage.

It saved me, and gave me a new purpose in life. I've been married ten years, and every day is still something new to learn, explore, and experience. She is the other half of me, and I was incomplete until I met my wife. I'm an "Alpha male" complete jerk, and she's an absolute sweetheart, and she brings out the best in me, and I protect her from a world that tries to take advantage of her kind nature.

I agree-your child's birth(s). It changes you because you learn to truly give and really receive love, even if you thought you could before.
