There is a commercial on TV somewhere that's either for Target or Old Navy that sounds like it has the first track from Supersunnyspeedgraphic (In Between Days). It was playing around Christmas time... Does anyone know what I'm talking about and am I right?

You are talking to the right person right here. Ben Folds is one of my favorite musicians. Ben Folds was the lead singer of the group Ben Folds Five for several years until they broke up in 2000. Since then he has had several solo albums that have done very well.
The newest is Supersunnyspeedgraphic and I do recommend it. I also recommend his other solo albums, Songs for Silverman, and Ben Folds Live.

Not sure if that is Ben Folds song in the commercial, but I had the pleasure of seeing him in a free concert not too long ago. I happened to be walking past the place he was performing and was handed a flyer. Excellent show! I caught it on my lunch hour.
