What do you think of this idea for a reality show? Putting Simon Cowell on the hot seat for a change?

This is the idea; You have a reality show where candidates would come out and host a television show. Then you would have a panel of viewers who would "tell it like it is"....How long would Simon last subjected to the same style of scrutiny that he gives others?

On what basis? Simon doesn't pretend to be a singer or actor; he's a music producer. This would not only be difficult for most people to evaluate, it would be frightfully dull and couldn't be effectively shown in a typical half-hour show. Simon does occasionally get a little too harsh and plays to the camera, but he's also highly experienced at evaluating performers and some of the contestants on American Idol *are* frightfully dreadful.

As a singer I think that what Simon does is great. Sure it hurt for a little bit but in the long run it is good for them. Also, most Brits that I know are just like that. He is not trying to be mean.

You know what? Simon is very quick and very witty. People would try to throw comments at him to mess him up but they would have a hard time. He would keep coming back with some interesting responses. That's what makes him who he is!

He's fine with it. He doens't care. He could sit there all day, I think. He takes it all day from people who don't get through to hollywood. Besides, he's usually right. And these people are in denial.
