i don't know her personally, but i work at a grocery store and some lady bought a pregnancy test because she wanted to take a second one in case the first was a negative-positive result. her husband just had a vasectomy about a month or so ago. she didn't think she could get pregnant after he got the snip. but she did! i found this on a website...

Does vasectomy ever fail?
Yes, rarely. There is a very small chance (less than 1%) that a man's partner will become pregnant after he has had a vasectomy. A vasectomy can fail if the tubes were not completely sealed off during surgery. Sometimes, the cut ends of the vasa join together by themselves, or an opening develops that lets sperm pass through. A pregnancy may also happen if a couple do not use some other kind of family planning until a test of the semen shows that the man is sterile.

I know a couple of people who did. I think with one situation they didn't wait as long as they were suppose to in abstaining. The other couple, just got unlucky i guess. I figure it this way. If you have yourself sterilized and still get pregnant then it was just meant to be.

No, i don't know anyone. If the vasectomy was done wrong then there is a chance. but that is a slim margin of proceedures that happens in.

its a Very poor chance of it happening.
