how long a period can space travellers stay on the space station ?

For the duration of their normal lifespan, providing they were to receive periodic replenishments for life support. Of course thats physiological. I'm not sure psychologically how long someone could stand to be out there. Most of us like to escape to open spaces at times.

We really don't know what the long term effects of migrogravity are on human health. Finding that out is one reason for having the space station. (In fact, right now it seems to be the only reason.)

a lifetime if you spin it for gravity ( even without their is no 'limit' just effects that would have to be compensated for )

this is the equivalent of - how long ----- in the arctic \\\ or underwater
