I definitely agree! Let's face it, Jimmy Page is the god of guitars. Plant's Vocal range is unmeasurable, Bonham's skill was unmatched by anyone, and jones was a good freakin bassist and keyboardist. They're definitely the ultimate band!

They have been the most influential in the transformation of heavier/darker music from the blues based feel of combos like Cream and the Yardbirds to the thicker metal sounds that followed.

A formula which was further developed by many, notably Sabbath and Van Halen and Metallica for example.

Led Zeppelin, Lennard Skennard, Marshall Tucker Band, The Band, The Stones, and many more!! But, I saw them in concert after Jon Bonham died, and it was there 5th day playing in Los Angeles, and we didn't have very good seats, and they really sounded tired, and like they just wanted to get through another day, as quickly as possible!!! We (my family still love's them , however), in spite of their concert being on the "Sucky-Side"!!! Smile!!!

ooh, love classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, even though I´m more into really heavy metal, like Sonata Arctica and Sinergy, however, I believe that bands like Zeppelin are the beginning of it all.

LZ ROCKS.

They go from blues to ballads to Hard driving Rock and Roll.
The Fathers of Heavy Metal!

Physical Graffiti, In through the out door. Zep Four , 3, 2 and 1 also. Mighty kicking stuff!

Takes me back to my hedonistic days living in California!

Their 3rd and 4th and partially 5th cds were great. But the rest sucked. What bothers me is that Led Zeppelin still technically exists, but without the drummer, who to my knowlege wrote only one song,- ''Moby Dick'' and what have they done since 1980? Nothing! Except for the lame ''Walking into Clarksdale'' and a good ''Unleaded'' performance of their old songs. Did Jimmy Page loose his talent?
MYSTERIOUS

There is no one better.

Anyone who prefers AC/DC over Led Zeppelin, get your head out of your ***.
