Yes they work for many people. That being said, you do not want to be dependent on their adjustments forever.
Find one that has a treatment program with an exit plan. That way you know they are working towards your healing and independence, versus you being a patient (paying money) for life.

Oh chiropractors totally rock. I love them. They're ridiculously expensive but they're amazing. I went to one after I got whiplash from a car accident (my spine was shaped a bit like a wonky "Z", which made me look a bit odd to say the least!) and only needed to visit him about six times and I was cured - no painkillers or anything. If you hurt quite a lot immediately after your first treatment but then it subsides that's usually a pretty good sign of a decent one. If the pain doesn't subside or you just don't feel ANY benefit at all, then it's time to look for a new chiropractor.

It really depends on what kind of help you need.. If your having mild back pains or got into an accident and have pain.. a chiropractor could be good for you. There are some bad chiropractors so it really is hard to find who is good or bad. Best bet is get refferral. Ask around your friends and co-workers if they know a good chirpractor.

Well it really depends on your injury. There are quite a few doctors out there that will suggest alternative treatment plans, such as Chiropractory, acupuncture, herbal treatments, physical therapy, etc. But really before you do this, you probably ought to check with your doctor. You don't wanna have some sort of herniated disk that just gets worse because you're pulling and tuggin on it. chiropractory does work sometimes, my mom used to do it for her back, but it's not really a permanant fix, but a good alternative to narcotic contracts. Hope this helps.

No I will never use one.
These people can not help with inflammatory, arthritis.
Depending what you have there has been praise from peeps who use these people, I think a good massage works just as well if not better.

A good one will fix your problem or at least make you feel a little better. You'll know if you went to a bad one if when you get ready to leave, you can no longer feel your legs. That's a bad one.

they work..but you have to keep up with going to them...research the chiropractors in your area...and ask them to speak to some of their clients...most likely the clients will go along with it and let you know what they think...

I've been going to mine for years now. He sure helps me. He's so good that he can tell me what is bothering me before I have a chance to tell him!

I am not sure that Chiropractic manipulation is a recognized healing discipline. You can tell if yours is good if he solves your problem.
