Nope. Its all about personal choice. I have many friends with blond, brown....black/red...red, silver, green, white. Any color really haha. So no you don't have to have black hair ^_^ Also you don't have to wear all black to be goth. White can be very goth. So can pink, green (once again any color) Check out this site and you'll see what I mean ^_^ http://www.viona-art.com/pages/frameset01/setmenu.html check out the Festival pictures for a wide range of people.

Girl, you're past gone. Stay away from the black eye makeup and go for a more "natural beauty" look. You know, brown eyeshadow, a touch of rouge, and some bit of pinkish-brown lipstick. That alone will be enough to keep you from looking Goth. Then you can wear all the black clothes you want and nobody will give you a hard time. Some of us just look good in black.

Here's my definition of goth:
Goth is more a lifestyle or outlook on life than anything. They tend to accept that there are bad things as well as good things in life, rather than 'sweep them under the rug', to say, and pretend they don't exist. They can dress however they want, although many prefer darker colors and more dramatic clothes and makeup, and listen to lots of songs and varied genres of music, which can include but are by no means limited to, new wave, darkwave, ethereal, Celtic, goth rock, punk, postpunk, chants, heavy metal, industrial, Latin, et cetera. Not all are interested in vampires - in fact, relatively few are. Many if not most have good relationships with their parents. Very few have mental or psychological problems. Most are actually quite nice, if a bit saturnine. Very, very, very few are 'satanists' or 'devil worsippers'. Most of the young teenagers who listen to Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Drowning Pool, et cetera and wear heavy thick makeup and studded spike collars and bracelets are called 'Mall goths', shop mostly at Hot Topic, and - this is important - they're not real goths. They just seem to think they are. They act disturbed and surly and try to impress/intimidate people. It seldom works, as most are obviously pathetic, and almost all will (thankfully) grow out of it. If you'd like a comprehensive explanation, try visiting goth.net.

i wear black clothes most of the time by all sorts of brands ie Nike.
my hair is straight and black,i wear some gothic style jewellery such as skulls and also a catholic type cross, people always presume I'm a goth when I'm not. Its irritating. Stereotypically, yes, wearing black hair and clothes is an obvious goth look. purple and red are gothy too.

I would say no, being a old goth myself (",)
I always used to love wearing black, but changed it to a deep red or blood red colour, which was nice. Even wearing just dark colours too. But you know, even if you just wear the jewellery and nail polish, I'm sure others will recognise you and welcome you with open arms. Goths/rockers, you could never meet a nice bunch of people.

No, no you do not. I just answered this in another question. Your clothes don't make you as a person. Your personality does. As long as you know what a true Goth is. It isn't someone that likes a certain type of doll or color. Look it up in Wikipedia.

I don't know. I think it's the hair because I hang around with the grunger-type people and they wear other coloured clothes than black, but they hair was..I think, by the way, I do not dress like a goth myself, I just hang around with them because I like their taste in music.

The one's I know, don't always have black hair, but do wear way out hairstyles, black polish, and way out there colors if they wear colors. Halloween colors are gothic and it seems to be sort of the theme for most gothics.

no, and no.
what color your hair is has nothing to do with any of that - usually labels like that have more to do with accessories you chose to wear.
as far as finding stuff in a wide variety of sizes, you might try Grave Images (http://www.graveimages.com) as they seem to have reasonable prices on stuff that's not too far over the top and seem very responsive to requests.
hope this helps...
