Teenagers are young and some are naïve. They haven’t experienced life long enough to really grasp the fact that love is more than passion. Most teenage love is real and young; meaning they haven’t experienced real heartbreak, it could possibly the strongest love in the world considering the fact that they are new and don’t know how to restrain certain feelings. Some people fall head over heels in love with their first everything. Some simply can’t realize that there are other people out there and that they are too young to handle those types of emotions. But this is inevitable, to really learn how to live you need to make mistakes...This coming from a teenager.

There are many different reasons a teen gets married. Some,because they think they're in love,others do it because of a pregnancy and they fill it's the right thing to do and sometimes these relationships do work out. I don't recommend it and I do believe that most people are waiting till they're older now as opposed to when I was younger to choose to get married. I was 18 and my husband was 17 when we got married and we've been married 29 years in June. I must say it has been a long road but worth it. We've grown up together and went through many changes in our lives. We're best friends and we seem to love each more everyday but I don't believe that we are the norm for marrying young.

A variety of reasons. Most are in love but not all are in love for the right reasons. Some just want to escape problems at home or in their families.

Because they're like all TEENS!!! They want to grow up fast and then resent what they've done later... Not a good idea for them really. In fact parents should step up and be role models and tell them it's NOT ok.

Because their hormones run extremely high from 14 to 22 years old. When you cant stop thinking of sex and love it seems natural to want to marry your partner.

Because they think they are grown up enough for it ( they
are not) or they may have to (as in a baby is on the way)
or they may use it as an escape from their lives at home(something may be very wrong there)

Societal pressure. While there are surely times when true love occurs at such a young age, there are all to many instances of doing it because they feel they must. Fear of ending up alone, so to speak.

Because they feel that they have found the person they want to spend the rest of their life with I guess.
