So england got soundly beaten in the ashes and suddenly there is a crisis in English cricket. We have been on an upward turn for 7 or so years now one, all be it, major setback and we need an enquiry. It surely doesn't take a panel to work out that Australia were simply the better team and England miss trescothick, vaughan and Simon Jones.

6 or 7 blokes have being appointed to sit around a table, to drink tea and eat sandwiches and to anayalis how we played in the ashes, bearing in mind, these blokes will ne put up in posh hotels and ve paid for this.

When they could just contact me and i could rell them what when wrong.

Wrong selection of Captain, it should of being Andrew Strauss, leave Freddie to concreate on his batting and bowling and let Strauss stress about the field, tactical plans.

Should of started with Chris Read as wicketkeeper, he is better in the glove department and batting department.

Have players fully primed, meaning fitness levels, bowling pratices, batting pratices.

Should have played more friendly's, instead of just the one game that was played.

Should of started with Monty Peasner instead of Ashley Giles. who hadn't even played first class cricket for a year.

In the official ratings. Our 1 day team is ranked 8th out of 10 teams. Only Zimbabwe and Bangladesh are below us!

The one day team has been rubbish for 10 years. Only the series against the Aussies, two years ago, did we go from terrible to mediocre.

The test team have lost to India, Pakistan and Australia. What is worrying to me, is that we have not looked remotely like winning,
nor, does the team seem that concerned about it.

Somebody needs to look into it, even if its the Barmy Army.
