Gosh, your question turned me on...I prefer a little of both, you know in the beginning when he ask if I want him to do this or that and silence, just feeling each other and then urging me to come again and again and then the final "Come with me". Then silence as we contemplate what we just did.

I had a guy that ALWAYS talked. It was funny and i was laughing the whole time. I think we talked about more durring sex than any other time in our relationship.
I also now date a guy that will not say anything. And it's just as well to me.
I think there should be a balance. I like the talking for fun goofy sex. But romantic keep quiet. I did have more fun with the guy that talked though. So I guess chat it up. haha

depends on the mood. Sometimes making love slow and
passionately would involve something about us....beauty, "I love
you" etc.... If it's hot wild sex then It gets a little ugly but I think
you get the picture.

I wouldnt say hold a conversation but some talking is good.
The talking depends on the sex;
say for instance its spontaneous and rough- you might want him to talk dirty and claim his 'stuff', maybe even instruct you to call him daddy (LOL)
but, if its intense and passionate, you might want him to tell you how much he loves you and how good it feels, and that he cant live without you!
(Darn, Its getting a little steamy in here! LOL!)
