Is it true that if you have your SS check deposited in a bank account just for the SS check that account cannot be attached from a creditor with a money judgment? Also, can the IRS attach your SS account for back taxes?

NO NOT EXEMPT AND YES IRS CAN GARNISH

I'm not sure about all legal attachments but I do know that they can take if for child support and the IRS can attach a levy to it.
