btw, I have no desire to call anyone any of these names because I have far too much respect for myself & others not to mention class, but I'm trying to understand the double standards??

While it's wrong to call anyone derogatory names, there's no comparison between being black and being gay. The two are totally different. I don't see why you have to point out that a "black man" called another man a F*g. Would it have been better if a white man did it? No.

It's just plain wrong that this man decided to call someone else a name just because of their sexuality. period!!

i agree with you i don't think it is OK to use either word but there would be an uproar if the groups for the gays came out and sued because of that. It would all get turned around. and i don't see the difference i think that f*g and the n word are both mean and hateful words and neither should be used.

Even if the black person is wrong, and being racist or a bigot, it is not PC to point out raicism or bigottry when a black person does it. Don't ask me WHY. It's just the way it is.
