My niece bought a car from a chain smoker, the smell was hideous! There was this guy who specializes in things like that, he completely shampooed the whole interior, among other things, and got it out!

Leave about 1/2 can of coffee grounds in the car and close it up. My husband used to haul chicken and they would do that to get rid of the smell! Worked wonders.

if ya have a little electric potpourri pot or a slow cooker, put some white vinegar in it and give it a couple of hours running time in the vehicle. follow up w/ some potpourri, if you want to.
for a quick fix, a couple of sprays of your favorite cologne in the heater vents will mask the odor (of course, after you run the fan).

Here's a solution i call "purging".
Swallow a few lemons before you go to bed.
Get in the front passenger seat.
Open the rear passenger window, the one on the side diagonally opposite you.
Let one rip.
And again if you have it in you.
Voila! Lemon fresh car interior!

this is the smell besides spoiled milk.......wipe everthing down with clorox wipes seats everything then get glade solid air freshner and hide under the seat and pick a bottle of fabreeze open all the windows and spray that smoke bag......oh and is it full of butts gag me........kara

Drive down the highway at about 80mph with all the windows down then use an odorcide spray

leav windows open wen its windy n sunny!
drive fast enough wiv windows down
vacuum...use scented washing stuff (like green appl, sea breeze, lime... somfing like nature or acidic fruit....or rose or fav flower if its a girl's car!!)
n use same-scent airfreshner...dont hang it tho...put infront or hide undearneath front seat..wen all's clean!! if its underseat..allow downwards air flow for a while!!

If it's not raining I leave my windows cracked, seems to work, and put in an airfreshener, but hide it don't hang it from the mirror.
